THE IOWA D-C-I IS INVESTIGATING TWO REPORTED KIDNAPPINGS SATURDAY IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS ON INTERSTATE 80.

JUST AFTER 5 PM SATURDAY, THE CASS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE RECEIVED A REPORT OF AN ADULT MALE THAT HAD BEEN KIDNAPPED EARLIER IN THE DAY.

THE CALLER WAS FLAGGED DOWN ON THE ROADSIDE BY THE VICTIM JUST SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 EXIT 51 NEAR MARNE AND SAID HE HAD BEEN KIDNAPPED IN LINCOLN, NEBRASKA AND WAS BEING FORCED TO DRIVE TO CHICAGO BY A MAN WITH A GUN.

THAT VEHICLE WAS DESCRIBED AS A SILVER CHEVY 2 DOOR PICKUP OPERATED BY AN OLDER WHITE MALE WITH A BEARD.

THE PICKUP THEN WENT EAST ON INTERSTATE 80.

THE CASS COUNTY SHERIFF SAYS THE IDENTITY OF THE MAN IN THE CHEVY PICKUP IS UNKNOWN.

THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED A 5’10, 160 POUND BLACK MALE AGE 25-35, WITH WELL TRIMMED HAIR, AND A SHORT STUBBLE BEARD WEARING A BLACK T-SHIRT AND BLUE JEANS.
