POWELL BROADCASTING GENERAL CONTEST RULES

These General Contest Rules apply to all contests, promotions, sweepstakes, giveaways, and other promotional activities conducted by Powell Broadcasting and any of its radio stations, KKYY-Y101.3 Siouxland’s Country Variety, KSCJ – KSCJ 1360AM/94.9FM, KSUX – KSUX 105.7 Today’s Best Country, KQNU – Q102.3 Better Hits from 2K and Today, KLEM – KLEM 1410AM/96.9FM, and KKMA – Classic Rock 99.5. These rules serve as the standard contest rules for all Powell Broadcasting stations and may be supplemented by station-specific or promotion-specific rules when applicable.

POWELL BROADCASTING ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR UNAVOIDABLE AND/OR UNFORESEEN INTERRUPTIONS OF BROADCAST.
ANY TIES WILL BE DECIDED BY A RANDOM DRAWING OF THOSE ENTRIES UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. DECISION OF POWELL BROADCASTING MANAGEMENT IS FINAL.
NO SUBSTITUTIONS OR DUPLICATION OF PRIZES. NO CASH VALUE. EVENT TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE WHEN WINNER IS NOTIFIED BY THE RADIO STATION DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS IN PERSON UNLESS THEY ARE DIGITAL TICKETS WITH PROPER VALID PICTURE ID. NO MAILINGS.
WINNER SHALL TAKE POSSESSION OF PRIZE WITHIN 30 DAYS AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TAXES AND FEES.
WINNERS MUST ALLOW AT THE MINIMUM OF 10 WORKING DAYS FOR CASH PRIZES.

IF CONTEST IS OPERATED VIA THE INTERNET, POWELL BROADCASTING IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DROPPED CONNECTIONS, CORRUPTED DATA OR ANY DIGITAL TRANSFER INTEGRITY TO ENGAGE IN CONTEST. THIS INCLUDES ANY FAILURE OF THE PROGRAM OR RELATED APPLICATIONS OPERATING THE CONTEST. POWELL MANAGEMENT SHALL DECIDE, IN THAT EVENT, FINAL DISPOSITION OF THE CONTEST AT THAT TIME. UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED OTHERWISE IN WRITING ONE ENTRY PER PERSON PER EMAIL ADDRESS. DUPLICATES WILL BE DELETED.
UNLESS CLEARLY STATED PRIZES ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE AWARDED. ODDS OF WINNING ANY DRAWING ARE DEPENDANT ON NUMBER OF ENTRIES. NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ENTRIES.
EMPLOYEES AND FAMILIES OF POWELL BROADCASTING, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS OR ASSIGNEES, SPONSORS AND THEIR SPONSORS ALONG WITH ALL OTHER BROADCAST MEDIA COMPANIES NOT ELIGIBLE. CONTEST SPONSOR REGULATIONS ALSO APPLY. SHOULD CONFLICT BETWEEN STATION, SPONSOR OR ANY OTHER ENTITY RULES ARISE, STATION RULES SHALL TAKE PRIORITY.
WINNER GRANTS POWELL BROADCASTING PERMISSION TO USE THEIR NAME, PHOTOGRAPH, VIDEO, AUDIO RECORDINGS, AND LIKENESS IN ADVERTISEMENTS, SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS, WEBSITE CONTENT, PRESS RELEASES, OR OTHER PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS RELATED TO THE CONTEST OR STATION PROMOTIONS.
OTHER RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY. POWELL BROADCASTING RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY ANY ENTRANT AT ANY TIME WITH OR WITHOUT CAUSE.

KSCJ Treasure Hunt Contest Rules

Upon finding the hidden certificate, it must be turned into Powell Broadcasting to claim the $136 prize. A check for the $136 will be available in about 10 business days for the winner. Once a weekly certificate is found, the contest is over until the next hunt begins.
You must be at least 18 years old to participate. One qualifier per household.
At the end of the promotion a drawing will be held among the four weekly qualifiers to determine the winner of the grill.
Any taxes associated with winning will be the responsibility of the winner.
One winner, per household, per 30 days. Employees of Powell Broadcasting, Kollman Appliance, their related companies and participating sponsors are not eligible. Some restrictions apply. Any prize left unclaimed after 30 days is forfeited unless prior arrangements have been made in writing with Powell Broadcasting management. No prize substitutions permitted.
General Powell Broadcasting contest rules:
All prizes must be picked up at the business offices of Powell Broadcasting during regular business hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Identification may be required to claim a prize. If winner is under age 18 (eighteen), a parent or legal guardian must be present. Winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes if required. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value unless specified.
Specific contests may require rules and procedures unique to that promotion. Details will be posted adjacent to that particular event.
Winners grant Powell Broadcasting permission to use winner’s name, voice or any other likeness in any promotional media.
