MCCOY PLEADS GUILTY IN FEDERAL METH CASE

A SIOUX CITY MAN WHO CONSPIRED TO DISTRIBUTE METHAMPHETAMINE AROUND THE TRI-STATE AREA PLED GUILTY THURSDAY IN SIOUX CITY FEDERAL COURT.

39 YEAR OLD LEROY ERIC MCCOY WAS CONVICTED OF CONSPIRACY TO DISTRIBUTE METHAMPHETAMINE.

IN A PLEA AGREEMENT, MCCOY ADMITTED TO CONSPIRING TO DISTRIBUTE LARGE QUANTITIES OF METHAMPHETAMINE.

MCCOY WAS PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED IN 2005 OF CONSPIRACY TO DISTRIBUTE METH NEAR A PRIVATE LOCATION AND POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE METHAMPHETAMINE.

HE FACES A MANDATORY MINIMUM SENTENCE OF 15 YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT.
