PARTS OF THE OMAHA-LINCOLN AREA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA RECEIVED AROUND A FOOT OF SNOW THURSDAY,

TROOPERS WITH THE NEBRASKA STATE PATROL RESPONDED TO MORE THAN 250 WEATHER-RELATED INCIDENTS DURING THAT STRONG WINTER STORM.

TROOPERS PERFORMED 249 MOTORIST ASSISTS AND RESPONDED TO 20 CRASHES, THE VAST MAJORITY IN EASTERN NEBRASKA.

FORTUNATELY, THERE WERE NO LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES REPORTED IN THOSE CRASHES.
