LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR ADAM GREGG WAS JOINED BY FORMER IOWA HAWKEYE AND RETIRED N-F-L STAR DALLAS CLARK IN SIOUX CITY FRIDAY AFTERNOON TO GET COVID-19 SHOTS AT A POP-UP VACCINATION CLINIC.

THE LT. GOVERNOR SAYS MEN ARE GETTING THE VACCINE IN SMALLER NUMBERS THAN WOMEN IN THE STATE, AND THAT’S BECOME A CONCERN:

GREGG SAYS HE UNDERSTANDS HOW YOUNGER ADULT MEN THINK THEY’RE NOT LIKELY TO COME DOWN WITH COVID, BUT THEY NEED TO CHANGE THAT ATTITUDE:

SO GREGG AND THE 41-YEAR-OLD CLARK ROLLED UP THEIR SLEEVES AND GOT A SHOT OF THE VACCINE.

CLARK SAYS THE MORE PEOPLE THAT ARE VACCINATED, THE QUICKER THINGS WILL GO BACK TO NORMAL:

CLARK AND GREGG WERE JOINED BY AROUND TWO DOZEN SIOUXLAND COACHES AND COMMUNITY LEADERS, MANY WHO WERE GETTING THEIR FIRST DOSE OF VACCINE AT THE CLINIC, WHICH WAS HELD AT THE SIOUXLAND EXPO CENTER FROM NOON UNTIL 2 P-M.
