SOUTH SIOUX CITY’S SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT IS MAKING IT CLEAR THAT PROTESTS WHERE STUDENTS WALK OUT OF CLASS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE AND HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

TODD STROM RELEASED A TWO MINUTE VIDEO LATE WEDNESDAY STATING THAT POSITION FOLLOWING LAST FRIDAY’S WALKOUT BY SEVERAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:

STROM SAYS STUDENTS HAVE SEVERAL OPTIONS TO ENGAGE IN CONVERSATIONS REGARDING ANY CONCERNS THEY HAVE IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:

STROM SAYS THE SOUTH SIOUX CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT LOOKS AT SAFETY, DIVERSITY AND RESPECT AS IMPORTANT BEHAVIORS, AND THEY EXPECT IT OF ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF.

ANY STUDENT WHO FAILS TO ABIDE BY THE PRINCIPAL’S TERMS OR DIRECTIVES MAY BE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINARY CONSEQUENCES.
