THREE TO INTERVIEW FOR COUNTY TREASURER’S POST

THREE PEOPLE WILL INTERVIEW TUESDAY AFTERNOON WITH THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN HOPES OF BECOMING THE NEXT COUNTY TREASURER.

MIKE CLAYTON RETIRED AS COUNTY TREASURER EFFECTIVE LAST FRIDAY WITH AROUND A YEAR AND A HALF LEFT ON HIS CURRENT TERM.

THE THREE APPLICANTS INCLUDE LOCAL BUSINESSWOMAN TINA BERTRAND, MIKE HEADID, WHO FINISHED 3RD IN THE GENERAL ELECTION FOR TREASURER IN 2018, AND KOLBY DE WITT, WHO IS AN AIDE TO U.S. SENATOR JONI ERNST AND THE NEPHEW OF SUPERVISORS CHAIRMAN ROCKY DEWITT.

THE SUPERVISORS WILL ALSO DISCUSS THE SELECTION PROCESS AFTER THE CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS.
