THE GOVERNORS OF NEBRASKA AND SOUTH DAKOTA SAY THEIR STATES WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN A VACCINE PASSPORT PROGRAM.

PETE RICKETTS AND KRISTI NOEM MADE THEIR ANNOUNCEMENTS WEDNESDAY.
RICKETTS SAYS A VACCINE PASSPORT PROGRAM WOULD GO AGAINST THE “FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT AND HEALTHCARE PRIVACY.”

NOEM SAYS SHE IS AGAINST THE IDEA OF VACCINE PASSPORTS IN THE UNITED STATES, AND THAT PRESIDENT BIDEN’S PROPOSAL WOULD BE OPPRESSIVE.

THE U.S. ALREADY REQUIRES INCOMING INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS TO BE TESTED FOR COVID-19 OR PROVE THAT THEY’VE RECOVERED FROM THE VIRUS WITHIN THE LAST 90 DAYS TO ENTER THE COUNTRY.
