HEART DISEASE REMAINS THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH IN THE UNITED STATES.
WHEN A PERSON SUFFERS CARDIAC ARREST, QUICK DELIVERY OF C-P-R WILL MORE THAN DOUBLE THE VICTIM’S CHANCE OF SURVIVAL.

THIS WEEK MEMBERS OF SIOUX CITY FIRE RESCUE ARE PROVIDING CARDIO-PULMONARY RESUSCITATION TRAINING TO CITY EMPLOYEES FROM 24 DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS.

RAGALLER SAYS THE TURNOUT FOR THE TWO DAY TRAINING WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED, SO MORE SESSIONS ARE BEING PLANNED:

OVER 70 CITY EMPLOYEES ARE TAKING THE C-P-R TRAINING THIS WEEK WHICH INCLUDES LEARNING HOW TO USE AN EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR.
