RESURFACING WORK TO GET UNDERWAY ON JACKSON STREET SOON

THERE’S A LOT OF POTHOLES ON SIOUX CITY’S STREETS AND THE CITY IS SOON GOING TO START RESURFACING ON SOME OF THOSE ROADS.

WORK ON SECTIONS OF JACKSON STREET WILL RESUME ON APRIL 5TH.

PAVEMENT MILLING AND ASPHALT RESURFACING WILL TAKE PLACE ON JACKSON FROM 5TH STREET TO 14TH STREET, AND FROM 36TH TO 39TH STREETS.

THERE WILL ALSO BE WORK DONE ON 30TH STREET BETWEEN JACKSON AND JONES STREETS.

THAT WORK SHOULD ALL BE FINISHED BY APRIL 16TH.

ANOTHER STREET PROJECT THAT BEGINS ON APRIL 5TH WILL BE THE RESUMPTION OF RECONSTRUCTION OF PART OF INGLESIDE AVENUE.

THE ROADWAY AND SIDEWALKS ARE BEING REBUILT BETWEEN 14TH AND 18TH STREETS.

SEWER, WATER AND STORM SEWER UTILITIES ARE BEING REPLACED.

THE REMAINING PHASE WILL HAVE INGLESIDE CLOSED FROM 14TH TO 15TH STREET AND 14TH FROM INGLESIDE TO JACKSON STREET.

THE WORK SHOULD BE FINISHED BY JULY.
