WOODBURY SUPERVISORS HOPE TO APPOINT NEW COUNTY TREASURER

THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS INTENDS TO APPOINT A NEW COUNTY TREASURER WHEN CURRENT TREASURER MIKE CLAYTON RETIRES IN EARLY APRIL.

CLAYTON WAS ELECTED TO A NEW TERM IN NOVEMBER OF 2018, BUT HAS DECIDED TO RETIRE.

SUPERVISOR KEITH RADIG LAID OUT A TIMELINE AT LAST WEEKS MEETING TO PICK CLAYTON’S REPLACEMENT, STARTING WITH THIS WEEKS MEETING:

TREAS1 OC…….RECEIVE AN APPLICATION. :20

RADIG WOULD THEN HAVE CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS TAKE PLACE APRIL 6TH.

COUNTY AUDITOR PAT GILL TOLD RADIG LAST WEEK HE WAS ANNOUNCING A BOARD INTENTION WITHOUT HAVING IT ON THAT WEEK’S AGENDA OR CONSIDERING A SPECIAL ELECTION:

TREAS2 OC…….. A SPECIAL ELECTION. ;12

RADIG HAS THE PROPOSAL ON THIS WEEKS AGENDA FOR THE SUPERVISORS TO CONSIDER.
