It’s going to be at least another week before a decision is made on a mask mandate for residents of South Sioux City.

The South Sioux City public works committee discussed the possibility of a mask mandate with city and county health officials.

A survey of local businesses was discussed, which showed that a majority of people at those places currently did wear masks.

The board, including Mayor Rod Koch, decided to continue the discussion at their next meeting.
