Firefighters from North Sioux City and other nearby responders battled a major grass fire off Northshore Drive near the Dakota Valley High School in Union County Sunday night.
There were no reports of the fire reaching any buildings and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters had the blaze contained by 10pm.
It’s not known at this time what started the fire.
