NEBRASKA RELEASES PHEASANTS IN NEARBY RESERVE AREAS

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is releasing rooster pheasants at 14 wildlife management areas, including two in northeast Nebraska, in time for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Included among the 14 areas are Powder Creek in Dixon County and Oak Valley located in Madison County.

Nebraska’s pheasant season runs through January 31st.

Permits, including the nonresident two-day hunt permit, may be purchased online.
