Construction will begin Thursday on the new parking ramp located near the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in the west downtown area.
The city will close the north lane of 3rd Street between Douglas Street and Wesley Parkway Thursday morning.
That will allow the contractor, W.A. Klinger to begin construction of the parking garage project.
The closure will be in effect through Friday, October 26th, weather permitting.
