One man was severely injured in a fireworks accident in Leeds Monday night.
A city Fire Rescue spokesman say a man who was shooting off fireworks in the 4400 block of Polk Street around 8pm blew off one of his hands when fireworks exploded.
The victim was transported to Mercy Medical Center.
His name and condition have not been released.
