The University of Nebraska is hiring former Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule to become the Cornhuskers’ next head football coach.
Rhule was fired by the Panthers in October, but had successful runs in college at both Baylor and Temple.
He will replace former Nebraska quarterback Scott Frost, after Frost was fired earlier this season.
He received an eight-year contract from the school.
