SIOUX CITY FIRE RESCUE CONTINUES TO INVESTIGATE THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE THAT INJURED TWO PEOPLE ON SIOUX CITY’S WESTSIDE SUNDAY NIGHT.

THE TWO MALE VICTIMS WERE RESCUED FROM THE SECOND FLOOR OF THEIR HOME AT 1613 WEST 15TH STREET AND TAKEN TO MERCYONE MEDICAL CENTER WITH CRITICAL INJURIES.

THEY HAVE SINCE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO ST. ELIZABETH’S HOSPITAL IN LINCOLN.

THEIR NAMES HAVE NOT BEEN RELEASED.

INVESTIGATORS SAY THE FIRE WAS CONTAINED TO A SECOND FLOOR BEDROOM, BUT THE HOUSE HAS BEEN RED TAGGED BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE.
