A Monday afternoon fire has damaged a home in the 500 block of Burton Street in Sioux City.
Fire Rescue officials say the home owners came home to find smoke coming from the first floor of the structure.
Firefighters arrived and quickly put out the fire inside the residence.
The home was red tagged and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
