JURY DELIBERATIONS ARE UNDERWAY IN THE TRIAL OF A SIOUX CITY MAN ACCUSED OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER.
ATTORNEYS MADE THEIR CLOSING ARGUMENTS IN THE CASE OF ELIAS WANATEE, AND THE JURY RECEIVED THEIR INSTRUCTIONS AND BEGAN DELIBERATIONS AT 11:40AM.
TESTIMONY IN THE CASE WRAPPED UP FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
WANATEE IS CHARGED IN THE FATAL STABBING OF 50 YEAR OLD VERNON MACE OUTSIDE OF A WEST 1ST STREET HOME ON FEBRUARY 7TH.
Closing arguments will be presented Monday morning in the first degree murder trial of Elias Wanatee.
Testimony in the case wrapped up Friday afternoon and the jury will begin deliberations following the closing statements.
Wanatee is charged in the fatal stabbing of 50 year old Vernon Mace outside of a West 1st Street home back in February.
