Several high school students face charges or suspension following incidents at the South Sioux City High School Monday afternoon.
The school was placed on lockdown after unauthorized persons from another school district were discovered in the school.
Those subjects fled into the school and eventually left the building.
South Sioux City Police say the two juvenile males were identified and cited for trespassing.
Two juvenile female students from South Sioux City were also involved and were cited for Aid and Abet trespassing.
During the lockdown, two other South Sioux High School students allegedly used social media to tweet that there were subjects in the school with weapons.
Photos of subjects with weapons were posted.
The two students were identified and cited for Disturbing the Peace.
School administrators say up to 7 South Sioux school students will be suspended for their participation in Monday’s events.
