A popular Sioux City music venue has closed its doors.
The Chesterfield. located at 1225 4th Street posted a notice on its Facebook page Tuesday evening that the closure is temporary.
The club closed last Tuesday night after its liquor license expired.
The Chesterfield’s statement says they apologize to all of their customers and everyone who promotes and performs with them.
The Facebook post also says that they’ve recently become unable to keep up with the costs of running the business, and so have decided to close, on a temporary basis.
All currently scheduled shows are in the process of being moved to other local venues.
