The trial of a Le Mars, Iowa man accused of the June stabbing death of his sister has been delayed.
Thomas Bibler is charged with first degree murder, willful injury and going armed with intent in the June 11th stabbing death of 27 year old Shannon Bogh at her Le Mars home.
Judge Jeffrey Neary ruled Friday to continue Bibler’s trial until February 14th at 9am.
The judge’s order states that a psychological evaluation of Bibler has not been completed, so he has moved the trial date to next year.
A pre-trial hearing in the case is scheduled for January 30th.
Bibler remains held in the Plymouth County Jail.
