DOWNTOWN HOLIDAY SEASON BEGINS WITH LIGHTED PARADE

Downtown Sioux City kicks off the holiday season tonight with an evening full of activities including the annual lighted parade.

Ragen Cote of downtown Partners says the fun begins at the LaunchPAD Children’s Museum on Pearl Street at 4pm:

Santa’s House is located at 416 Jackson Street this year where children can present him their wish list and warm up with hot chocolate and cookies.

The annual Festival of Trees also begins in the Ho-Chunk Centre atrium with bell choir and dance performances.

The trees will be on display through November 30th with an auction on December 1st benefiting the Siouxland Center for Active Generations.
