SOUTH SIOUX CITY IS CONTINUING TO DEAL WITH THE ODOR ISSUE CAUSED BY SEWER GAS IN SEVERAL HOMES IN THE SOUTH PORTION OF THE TOWN THAT HAS BACKED UP FROM BIG OX ENERGY.

CITY ADMINISTRATOR LANCE HEDQUIST SAYS THE CITY IS MAKING PROGRESS IN STOPPING THE PROBLEM:

THE AFFECTED RESIDENTS SAY THEY ARE GROWING IMPATIENT WITH THE CITY AND BIG OX ENERGY.

SPOKESMAN ROB BAKER SAYS HE’S CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT INSURANCE WILL COVER.

HE SAYS THE SMELL IS IN EVERYTHING THEY OWN AND THEY WEAR THE SMELL TO WORK EVERYDAY.
