SECOND SUSPECT ARRESTED IN WESTSIDE BEATING

SIOUX CITY POLICE HAVE MADE A SECOND ARREST IN THE BEATING OF A MALE VICTIM LAST FRIDAY NIGHT ON THE CITY’S WEST SIDE.

16 YEAR OLD DE’VON JACKSON IS CHARGED WITH WILLFUL INJURY, FELONY ASSAULT AND FIRST DEGREE THEFT.

JACKSON IS CHARGED IN THE BEATING BY SEVERAL SUSPECTS OF NICHOLAS HODGINS IN THE 1500 BLOCK OF WEST 3RD STREET

HODGINS SUFFERED A FRACTURED ORBITAL SOCKET, A CONCUSSION AND LOST SEVERAL TEETH.

HIS CELL PHONE AND WALLET WERE ALSO STOLEN.

HODGINS HAS BEEN RELEASED FROM A LOCAL HOSPITAL AND IS RECOVERING FROM HIS INJURIES.

JACKSON IS BEING HELD IN JAIL ON $10-THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND.

POLICE HAVE POSTED A VIDEO OF THE BEATING ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE AND ARE CONTINUING THEIR INVESTIGATION AND SEEKING THE OTHER SUSPECTS.
