VOTER FRAUD BECAME A HOT TOPIC AT MONDAY NIGHT’S LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTER’S CANDIDATE’S FORUM.

THE DISCUSSION BECAME HEATED WHEN JOANNE CRAIG, THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR WOODBURY COUNTY AUDITOR ASKED INCUMBENT DEMOCRAT PAT GILL ABOUT A STORY SHE HAD HEARD ABOUT MISPLACED BALLOTS IN A PAST ELECTION:

OC…..HOW IT HAPPENED. :21

GILL, WHO HAS SERVED FIVE TERMS AS AUDITOR, TOOK OFFENSE AT THE QUESTION:

OC…….REPEAT RUMORS. ;20

GILL SAYS NO SUCH INCIDENT EVER HAS HAPPENED IN THE COUNTY.

HE THEN ASKED CRAIG WHY SHE HAS ONLY VOTED TWICE IN THE FIVE YEARS SHE HAS LIVED IN WOODBURY COUNTY.

SHE REPLIED THAT SHE DIDN’T FEEL SHE KNEW ENOUGH ABOUT THE CANDIDATES TO VOTE BECAUSE SHE WAS NEW TO THE AREA.
