A Sioux City man has been convicted on federal drug charges.
55 year old Kevin Babb was found guilty by a federal jury Friday of one count of conspiracy distribute 50 grams or more of pure methamphetamine and three counts of distribution of methamphetamine.
Evidence at the trial showed that Babb was involved in a meth distribution ring in the Sioux City area from 2012 through 2014 and on three occasions in 2014 sold methamphetamine to individuals cooperating with law enforcement.
Sentencing before United States District Court Judge Leonard T. Strand will be set after a pre-sentence report is prepared.
Babb faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years’ imprisonment and a possible maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
