CAPRON APOLOGIZES TO COUNTY SUPERVISORS OVER MINIMUM WAGE COMMENTS

THE DEBATE OVER INCREASING THE MINIMUM WAGE IN WOODBURY COUNTY CONTINUED MONDAY WHEN TWO COUNTY SUPERVISORS APPEARED AT THE CITY COUNCIL’S WEEKLY MEETING.

BOARD CHAIRMAN JEREMY TAYLOR AND SUPERVISOR MARK MONSON TOOK COUNCILWOMAN RHONDA CAPRON TO TASK FOR COMMENTS SHE POSTED ON FACEBOOK.

TAYLOR SAYS HE DID NOT ATTEND A FORUM AT MORNINGSIDE COLLEGE ON INCREASING THE MINIMUM WAGE BECAUSE HE HAD SHORT NOTICE OF IT.

CAPRON DID ATTEND AND POSTED A FACEBOOK MESSAGE IN RESPONSE TO A QUESTION BY FORMER SUPERVISOR GEORGE BOYKIN THAT CRITICIZED THE COUNTY, BUT NOT ANY SPECIFIC SUPERVISOR:
