A photo exhibit on display at Briar Cliff University is bringing awareness to modern-day slavery in the form of sex and labor trafficking in our communities.
The exhibit is by BCU assistant professor of social work Sister Shirley Fineran.
Fineran has been an active volunteer in justice and women’s issues for more than 50 years as a Sister of St. Francis.
She was the organizer of the recent human trafficking billboards posted throughout the Siouxland area.
The exhibit is open now through September 29th in the Heelan Hall Roth Atrium on the Briar Cliff campus.
