A Sioux City man is in jail for allegedly attacking his girlfriend with a hammer because she refused to let him tattoo his name on her chest.
28-year-old Jonathan Michael Boggs is charged with aggravated domestic assault and going armed with intent.
Court documents allege that Boggs argued with the woman, whom he had been dating, when she refused to let him tattoo his name on her chest.
Police say Boggs refused to let her leave the residence and struck her with a hammer.
Boggs is being held in the Woodbury County Jail on $10,000 bond.
