NEBRASKA ANNOUNCES DISASTER PREPAREDNESS INITIATIVE

Nebraska officials have unveiled a new effort with the American Red Cross to ensure residents are prepared for emergencies.

Governor Pete Ricketts says the “Prepared Communities Initiative” hopes to have plans in place for 100 Nebraska communities by December 2018 and to reach all communities by 2020:
