THE ATTORNEY OF A SIOUX CITY MAN WHO WAS FOUND GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER IN JULY IS ASKING FOR A NEW TRIAL FOR HER CLIENT.

A JURY FOUND TIMOTHY SCHROEDER GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS OF THE JANUARY, 2015 SHOOTING DEATH OF DUSTIN WILDER OF SLOAN, IOWA AT WILDER’S HOME.

SCHROEDER’S ATTORNEY, JENNIFER SOLBERG, FILED A MOTION CLAIMING HE SHOULD RECEIVE A NEW TRIAL BECAUSE OF ADVERSE RULINGS MADE AGAINST HER CLIENT IN PRE-TRIAL MOTIONS AND DURING THE TRIAL.

SHE CLAIMS SCHROEDER WAS DENIED A FAIR TRIAL AND HIS RIGHTS WERE VIOLATED.

SCHROEDER’S SENTENCING IS SET FOR SEPTEMBER 23RD IN WOODBURY COUNTY DISTRICT COURT.
