Somebody has stolen the blue wristbands that were to be used in this year’s ArtSplash festival.
Erin Webber-Dreeszen of the Sioux City Art Center says wristbands were stolen from one of the festival volunteers:

None of the blue wristbands had been distributed by the Art Center to the public yet, and Webber-Dreeszen says nobody should buy any if approached by someone on the street:

She says the only legal way to get a wristband for this year’s festival is to get one at the Artsplash entrance gate during the event:

ArtSplash will be held on September 3rd and 4th at Riverside Park.
