Governors Terry Branstad and Pete Ricketts have has been named to an agricultural committee that will advise GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Trump’s campaign announced the 64-member committee that will provide advice on the agricultural industry.
Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey and Bruce Rastetter, president of the board that oversees Iowa’s three public universities, are also on the committee.
Former Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman and State Senator Beau McCoy of Omaha are also members.
Falls City, Nebraska businessman Charles Herbster will serve as the committee’s national chairman.
