Absentee voting is now underway for the November 5th city council election.
Woodbury County Auditor Pat Gill says the ballots for the regular city election are available for absentee voting.
Any eligible voter that is a resident of a city in Woodbury County can vote early by requesting an absentee ballot be mailed to them or they may vote in person at the Auditor's Office.
Absentee ballots must be requested in writing. Forms are available at the Auditor's Office, on the Woodbury County web site.
Absentee ballots returned through the mail must be postmarked by November 4th, the day before the election.
You may vote absentee in person at the Woodbury County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through November 4th.
