Sioux City will join communities around the world to participate in a bell-ringing ceremony to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech next Wednesday.
City Council member Rhonda Capron says a special ceremony will also be held at city hall:
The ceremony will open with prayer led by Daniel Ford.
Richard Hayes will read Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech followed with music by Monique Scarlett.
Area churches are then asked to ring their bells at 3:00 p.m.
