The state medical examiner says autopsy results show no foul play occurred in the death of a Woodbury County jail inmate found unconscious in his cell on Tuesday.
The exact cause of death of Anthony R. Josta may not be known for six to eight weeks until toxicology tests are completed.
A statement from the Iowa Department of Public safety says the 35 year old Josta was found alone, unconscious and unresponsive in his jail cell.
Woodbury County Sheriff Dave Drew requested assistance from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation to look into the death, which is a normal procedure.
Josta had been in jail since last Saturday after his arrest on a warrant for contempt of court.
