ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE PLANS

Those who are Irish in spirit are called to join in the festivities of the 5th Annual Sioux City St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Registration is free for families who want to build a float, ride in a truck or simply march along the parade route to celebrate the holiday.

This year's parade will take place at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 17th. The route runs from 3rd and Iowa Streets west to Jackson Street, where it will turn right and travel for one block to 4th Street.

It will continue east down the length of Historic 4th Street, ending at MacBehr's at 1201 4th Street. You may register by sending an e-mail to siouXcityshamrock@ yahoo.com.
