The Santee Sioux tribe of Nebraska is opening a new state of the art casino and resort near Niobrara on Friday.

The new Ohiya (Oh-Hee-Ya) casino replaces the 17 year old facility that was the first gaming casino in Nebraska.

It's a 61,000 square feet featuring over 400 Vegas-Style machines, entertainment in the Four Winds Event Hall, a 45-room hotel and the Legends Restaurant.

The casino will be open 24/7 and is located 7 miles east of Niobrara, Nebraska, on Highway 12.
