Twenty-eight individuals and bands will be honored this summer with induction into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The ceremony and concert series at Arnold's Park is a big draw for audiences over Labor Day weekend.

Connie Mueller of the Iowa Rock and Roll Music Association, says they'll feature the singer who hit it big with the song, "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head," in 1969.



Some of the bands being inducted will also perform:

Among the other artists to be inducted are Wanda Jackson, Bill Terry of Emmetsburg, Steve Grams of Sioux City and Hot Rod Chevy Kevy of Sioux Falls. The Runway Nightclub of Sioux City will be inducted in the ballroom category.

Tickets for the induction ceremony will go on sale in May.
