A Sioux City woman who taped fake dynamite to her body before robbing a South Dakota bank has been sentenced to three years in federal prison.

Thirty-nine-year-old Michelle Bock was also ordered to pay $808 in restitution to the First Premier Bank in Sioux Falls.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Bock will be on supervised release for two years following her prison term.

Bock robbed the bank last July 17th.

Authorities say she later made up a story about being kidnapped by two men who supposedly taped the dynamite to her body and forced her to commit the crime.
