AUTHORITIES IN WOODBURY COUNTY TO CONDUCT TRAFFIC SAFETY PROJECT

This Sunday, August 16th, the Iowa State Patrol and local police and sheriff’s deputies will conduct a Traffic Enforcement Project in Woodbury County.

Officers will be targeting speeding drivers, seat belt violators and impaired and distracted drivers they find on local roadways.

The patrol says the month of July had 44 traffic fatality accidents in Iowa, which was the highest single month recorded since September of 2017.
