HUSEMAN TO RETIRE FROM IOWA HOUSE

The longest-serving member of the Iowa House Republican caucus has announced that he will not seek reelection.

Rep. Dan Huseman of Aurelia in 2020 will retire from the Iowa House at the conclusion of his term.

He represents House District 3, which is comprised of Cherokee and O’Brien counties as well as parts of Plymouth and Sioux counties.

Huseman currently serves as an Assistant Majority Leader in the Iowa House and was first elected in 1994.
