A Sioux City man has died from injuries in a multi-vehicle accident Monday evening in Omaha.
Authorities say 49-year-old Vernon Hunter was headed north on U.S. Highway 75 when his motorcycle struck a vehicle that had stopped because of congested traffic in northeast Omaha.
Police say when Hunter ran into the rear of the other vehicle, his motorcycle then spun into another traffic lane, where it was hit by a school bus.
Hunter was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
