POLICE SEARCH FOR STABBING SUSPECTS (UPDATE)

One person was injured in a stabbing Monday night on the city’s near northside.
Sioux City Police were dispatched to 14th and Grandview around 9:45pm where they found a 27 year old male victim who had been stabbed multiple times.
The victim was taken to Mercy Medical Center.
His name has not been released and police say his wounds were not life threatening.
Investigators say the man had been at a nearby convenience store where he got into an altercation with up to four people.
One of those men stabbed the victim, who then ran away from the suspects.
Police say they have identified some of the suspects and are looking to determine the identity of two others, who are described as Native American or Hispanic males in their 20’s.
The incident remains under investigation.
