Sioux City has the cheapest gas in Iowa.
That’s according to the latest TripleA survey which had prices here at $3.30 a gallon at the end of July.
Prices have dropped below $3.20 a gallon at many local locations this week, and TripleA-Iowa spokeswoman Gail Weinholzer says prices at the pump dropped almost every single day in July and they’re still inching downward in August.
OC…..IN THE GULF. ;11
Weinholzer expect the cost of filling your tank to do the same as we head toward Labor Day.
Prices statewide averaged three-36 a gallon, more than a dime below the national average at the end of July.
Iowa’s most expensive gas is in Des Moines, where the average is three-39 a gallon.
