TWO PEOPLE WERE INJURED IN A COLLISION OF TWO PICK UP TRUCKS IN RURAL BUENA VISTA COUNTY MONDAY MORNING.

AUTHORITIES SAY THE PICK UPS COLLIDED AT AN UNCONTROLLED INTERSECTION AT 610TH STREET AND 190TH AVENUE NEAR NEWELL.

61 YEAR OLD STEVEN WILLIAMS OF STORM LAKE AND 41 YEAR OLD WALTER MORRIS OF NEWELL WERE THE DRIVERS WHO WERE INJURED.

INVESTIGATORS SAY WILLIAMS TRUCK ROLLED SEVERAL TIMES ON IMPACT AND HE WAS EJECTED.

WILLIAMS WAS LIFE FLIGHTED TO MERCY MEDICAL CENTER IN SIOUX CITY WHILE MORRIS WAS TAKEN TO THE BUENA VISTA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER IN STORM LAKE.

THE BUENA VISTA COUNTY SHERIFF SAYS TALL CORN ON ALL SIDES OF THE INTERSECTION MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR EITHER DRIVER TO SEE ONCOMING TRAFFIC.

THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED AROUND 7:30AM.
