SAM CLOVIS HAS PICKED MATT WHITAKER TO BE HIS CAMPAIGN MANAGER IN HIS QUEST TO BECOME STATE TREASURER OF IOWA.

CLOVIS SAYS HE DISCOVERED IN THE SENATE PRIMARY RACE THAT HE AND WHITAKER HAD A GREAT DEAL IN COMMON, INCLUDING FAITH IN GOD AND LOVE OF COUNTRY.

HE SAYS WHITAKER BECAME THE LOGICAL PERSON TO CHAIR HIS CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE.
