Authorities continue their investigation of Thursday afternoon’s armed robbery of the United Bank of Iowa in Holstein

The Ida County Sheriff says a male suspect entered the bank, displayed a hand gun and demanded money from the tellers about 4:05 p.m.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber is described as a black male in his 20’s, about six feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds.

He was wearing a gray sweatshirt.
